Before you connect Twitch, here is Constellation's simple data promise.
Your Twitch login stays server-side. Constellation uses Twitch's authorization-code flow. Twitch access and refresh tokens are encrypted inside an HttpOnly Cloudflare session cookie and are not exposed to Constellation's browser JavaScript.
Your discovery profile stays local. Saved creators, presets, match history, bookmarks, recommendations, and accessibility settings remain in this browser unless you deliberately export them.
No selling or ad profiling. Constellation does not sell your information, use tracking cookies, or send your discovery activity to advertisers or data brokers.
Historical context is supplemental. A limited set of strong Discovery candidates may have public channel names or Twitch category IDs sent through Constellation to TwitchTracker for optional 30-day context. Schedule Intelligence may also cross-check public archived-broadcast activity when a published Twitch schedule is unavailable. Your Twitch token is never sent to TwitchTracker.
Raid control is optional and explicit. Find a Raid can request Twitch's channel:manage:raids permission separately. Constellation sends a raid only after you choose a live destination and confirm the action; the encrypted Worker session performs the Twitch API mutation.
Technical details
Public Twitch discovery requests use Constellation's stateless Cloudflare Twitch gateway with a server app token. User-specific profile, Following, and explicitly confirmed raid requests pass through Constellation's same-origin Worker, which reads the encrypted HttpOnly session and calls Twitch server-to-server.
Constellation does not have a D1 user database in this release. The Worker session contains only the Twitch credentials required to maintain login and expires if it cannot be refreshed. Sanitized diagnostics remain in browser session storage and are never uploaded automatically.
Clearing this site's browser data removes local Constellation preferences. Logging out clears the encrypted server session cookie.
Continuing allows the essential session cookie and local browser storage described above.

Constellation never sells your Twitch data. Twitch access and refresh tokens stay behind the Cloudflare Worker in an encrypted HttpOnly session and are not exposed to browser JavaScript. Public Discovery/enrichment requests use Constellation's stateless Cloudflare Twitch gateway with an app token; signed-in identity and Following requests use the same-origin Worker session. Historical Discovery sends only public Twitch channel names and category IDs for a limited set of candidates when enabled. Creator Match can request your own public 30-day TwitchTracker summary for an editable audience suggestion, limited candidate summaries for Typical matching, and a candidate summary when Schedule Intelligence cross-checks inferred VOD activity. Public summaries are cached for six hours. Twitch OAuth is never forwarded.

Use your live audience, TwitchTracker 30-day typical audience, your latest Twitch VOD, another past broadcast, or a custom number. Suggested audience values are always editable. Nothing here requires D1 or permanent server storage.

Typical mode checks a limited set of strong candidates through TwitchTracker and falls back to live viewers when history is unavailable.
Match range
Shows Twitch archive title, date, game when available, and duration. VOD play count is never treated as live audience.
Constellation fills this when possible. You can always adjust it before matching.
How it works
Constellation checks up to the strongest 12 matches. Published Twitch schedules are preferred. When a creator has no published schedule, recent public VOD activity can provide a clearly labeled, lower-weight estimate of likely stream windows.
Match tags
Required tags must all be present. Preferred tags improve the match explanation/order. Excluded tags remove a creator. These are separate from the main Discovery tag filters.

Comma-separated. A channel is included when any entered tag matches exactly.
Adult-oriented creator tags
These are creator-entered discovery tags, not proof of age and not an age gate.
Optional scoring preference. These tags do not exclude creators; they strengthen Discovery Fit when present.
Comma-separated. Streams with any matching tag are removed.
